27 Weeks!
We have been busy getting things ready for the holidays and I have all my presents brought and wrapped. Woohoo! I got the baby a little present too. He got a frog that lights up with moon and stars on the ceilling and has soothing sounds. Jamison had a similiar animal but he still uses his sometimes to go to sleep and I don't want Jamison to think that we are taking everything away from him for the baby. We have also started freezing meals and bought some newborn diapers. After Christmas is over I plan on going through Jamison's old baby clothes and washing them and getting them put in the nursery.
This weekend we have a busy weekend on tap. We are heading to Omaha to go my parents house and will be staying there until Christmas Eve and then heading back to Sioux City. Jamison is super excited to see Cousin Kaden and unwrap gifts. He has told me that Santa is going to bring him presents. Christmas Eve night we will go to Andy's parent's house for the Hanson side Christmas. Christmas morning we are having our Christmas and Andy's Parents are coming over to open gifts. That evening we will go to Andy's other grandma's Christmas for supper. Whew busy! It should be fun. We are looking forward to seeing Jamison open up gifts since he is more into Christmas this year than last. Jamison is also talking a lot more and can say sentences and count to 10. He is so much fun and we can't wait to add another little boy to our family! We are sooo excited. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and we will post some pics of Christmas soon!

Jamison's New Room!
He has done great with this transition and LOVES his new room. He has been sleeping through the night every night. We were a little worried about this transition that he would not sleep as well but he has done great.
22 weeks!
Sorry I haven't posted for awhile but I wanted to tell everyone that our u/s was great! We found out that we are having a boy and that he is healthy. He waved at us during the u/s and it was super cute.
I have been feeling great lately and all my appts are turning out normal. In a couple of weeks I will get checked for gestational diabetes which I didn't have with Jamison so I am crossing my fingers that I won't have it with this one as well.
Last weekend we moved Jamison over to his big boy room and the theme is airplanes. Also last weekend we got the baby's nursery ready. We re-used all of Jamison's bedding and pictures on the walls and the baby will have frogs and ducks. We had chose a gender neutral them when we were pregnant with J so we could use it for all of our children.
I did fly to Ohio a couple weekends ago because my grandma (dad's mom) passed away. It was a sad funeral but I was glad that I went. It was good to see some of my extended family too.
PS In the pic I am 20 weeks so I feel like I have popped even more since then!
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

17 Weeks
On another note we had a great weekend and got some great snapshots of Jamison while we were raking/playing in the leaves. Jamison is getting so independent and likes to do everything "by myself" as he states it. He puts on his shoes by himself and washes his hands by himself and likes to get into bed by himself. In a way it is good that he wants his independence because that will be nice when the baby comes that he is able to do more for himself. He has been going pee pee in the potty at night and is doing really well with that. Hopefully we can get him potty trained soon. Well I will update you after the u/s and let everyone know how it goes. I am a little nervous as this was when everything went wrong in our last pregnancy, but I am hopeful that everything will be ok. Until then I hope everyone has a great week.

We have a healthy baby!
We also talked to Dr. Barsoom about a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section) and he said that they do them in Omaha. This is definitely an option since I didn't enjoy having a c-section with Jamison. Dr. Barsoom told us that they could induce us at 37 weeks after they do an amniocentesis to check the baby's lungs to see if they are mature enough to breathe on it's own. We could also stay at my parent's house in Omaha and wait to go into labor after 37 weeks and have the baby in Omaha. Decisions, Decisions. The only reason we would have the baby in Omaha is because as of right now they don't do VBAC's in Sioux City. = (
I also had an appt with Dr. Eastmann, my primary OB, and everything is good. Blood pressure was 122/60, HR 70, and urine negative for glucose or protein. Baby's HR was 148. I love listening to the baby's HR, it is the most beautiful sound in the world. My next Dr. appt with Eastmann is on Oct 14th and they will check the AFP. (This is what was positive with Isabelle but we already know that baby doesn't have any neural tube defects so I feel like there is nothing to worry about) My next ultrasound will be on Oct 21 in Omaha with Dr. Barsoom and this will be an overall look at all of the baby's anatomy. Hopefully a confirmation of boy or girl so we know for sure! = )
Right now I am 13 weeks as of last Friday and almost in my second trimester! Woohoo! I am starting to feel like I have more energy which is really nice. I have been having some allergy problems but the Dr.'s have said it is ok to take Zyrtec and Benadryl if I need to. I am a little sad knowing that I will probably only be pregnant one more time since we want 3 kids so I am trying to enjoy this pregnancy as much as I can. I will post belly pics and u/s pic soon!

Trip to Ohio!
Another great trip this summer that we did was go to Ohio for my cousin Lindy's wedding! It was so good to see all of my relatives that live in Ohio.
We chose to fly and J did great. He slept most of the plane rides but when he wasn't sleeping we kept him preoccupied with toys and crayons. The only negative thing that happened is that we got 2 flights cancelled in one day! We couldn't believe it! It was just ridiculous. We also got to go to King's Island which is an awesome amusement park in Cincinnati. Here are the pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/thegouldfam/sets/72157627534100448/show/
Trip to the Zoo
Another memorable trip that we did this summer was go to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. J loved it! He especially loved the seals, elephants, and the fish aquarium.
Also another thing to mention is that my parents moved from Ohio to Elkhorn, NE! We love having my parents so close! It is absolutely great. Here are the rest of the pics from the zoo http://www.flickr.com/photos/thegouldfam/sets/72157627036288267/show/
