It was so hard to wait a couple of weeks to tell my parents but somehow I was able to do it! We flew into Indianapolis and drove to my parent's house. When we first got there we said hi to everyone and then I showed them my shirt. I had bought a shirt earlier that week that had a stork with a baby on it and it said due in August! I told everyone that I had a really cool new shirt and everyone looked at it and knew right away! It was a great Christmas this year...we also told both sets of our extended family!

Telling the Gould's

Tonight we went over to Steve and Roxanne's House to tell them the good news! We couldn't hold it in any longer. We told them that Santa came a little earlier to the Gould house this year and that we were having a baby! They were so excited to be a grandma, grandpa, and aunt!

First Appointment

Today I had my first appointment. They drew blood which confirmed my pregnancy! I sat down and talked with the nurse about family history, things you can eat while you are pregnant, medications you can take, and she gave me a lot of information about pregnancy. I also have 2 books on it! She didn't give me a due date but based on the books I am reading it will be about August 18! I will have my first ultrasound January 5....Stay tuned for pictures!

We're pregnant!

Today we found out we were pregnant! We were so excited! After I found out I got a little shirt out of my drawer that says I love daddy and I put it on top of Russell's back (our dog) and I told him to go get Andy. Russell walked over to Andy and soon after I walked over with my positive pregnancy test shaking in my hand. I was so excited! I told Andy "We are having a baby!" He started crying and then we hugged eachother. It was a moment I will never forget!
